Cutting Down the Rain Forest and the Jungle

Cutting down the rain forest and the jungle is really bad for many animal's habitats. Some animals are chimpanzees, gorillas, insects, birds, and monkeys. Although some do not live in trees, they still need trees to breath and pick fruit from. Below, I will have information about the rain forest and the jungle. First will be the rain forest.

The rain forests are Earth's greatest biological treasure. They once covered 14% of Earth's srface, they now only cover about 6%. Every second we loose one and one acre of our rain forests. That is killing or threatening almost half (57%) of our animals in rainforests and jungles. It is also killing and threatening about 137 types of plants

The jungles, or tropical rain forests, are dense forests that have warm climates. Like rain forests, there is now 6% of jungles on Earth. I said above some animals that are suffering, the chimpanzee suffers a lot because there are a lot of chimpanzees in jungles.

What about the animals? There could be endangered animals that live only there and people are making them extinct! THAT IS SO AWFUL!
